if the boy reads tt i'm blogging abt this he is SO going to kill me.
a pair of his thermal pants went missing yesterday. it was not on any one of the chairs (cos he's like total hollywood style la - come home, take off clothes n fling onto any piece of furniture), not in the toilet, not in the laundry basket, it was no where to be found and he had just taken it off a few hours before. so nevermind...24 hours after, i woke up this morning, and good lord...
it was beneathe my pillow!!!!!! like erm - EWWWWWWWWW.
anyway...met with a headhunter today, shall not blog further abt this, just not appropriate here. had coffee at Appleton cafe - love the blueberry bar!!! (boston have loads of desserts, plenty plenty many many cakes! i have one almost every other day, i cant help it) tried to do al fresco cos it was sunny today n didnt feel tt cold when i was walking, after a cig, ran back in - with ice coffee. oh well. then supermarketing again! have to bring passport go supermarket cos of wine.
oh and if u are buying wine here, if u have 20 frens with you when you are paying, all 20 frens need to produce their IDs. if 1 of them do not have an ID on him/her, you are not buying that wine. they are THAT strict.
and i cooked a full 3 course meal yesterday!!! i forgot to take photos cos we got too excited about eating. damn it. n for the first time i finished cooking before the boy came home. n now i sound like a bloody housewife. eeeeyer.
am having my ta-paoed pizza. one slice is the size of 2 slices back home. love! hahahaha! oh and never order a large pizza. it's almost the size of a table. can eat for 3 days, and still can throw away the remains. no joke.

so far...
this will be a post with some photos of us since we left home over a week ago... (not much cos there's wayyyyy toooooo many to upload)
this is us, transit in amsterdam. very very sleepy, couldnt sleep at all on the plane.
and at the customs, the american officer was only keen on 3 things, why you're there, how much cash u have and do you have food with you. when he asked me that i almost retorted "why, are u hungry?". i was quite sleepy n groggy.
we stepped out for awhile n ran back in. it was freezing!!!! and the wind!
the poor boy had to carry over 60 kilos worth of luggage up a flight of stairs....and that was after carrying them in the cold. hur hur hur!
i dunno how he did it but he did. neither of us have ever seen a real fireplace but he got it working properly and not burn anything. and a few days later the landlord said the fireplace is just for ambience sake, it doesnt heat up the place. RIGHT.
we then slept from 2pm to 5am the next day due to jet lag, and i had the fever. i had hives on cheeks too. i was not very happy the first day we landed.
the next day was much better! we went for brunch - huge huge serving. dun think i ate again until dinner. he says i look like a MSN icon in this photo. lol.
and yes, we're both doing well, we're both very happy, thank you to those who have been asking and sending their regards. :o)

i always knew it would happen, just didnt think it would be me
that was what the boy said when we came back on saturday and found foam in the kitchen. he cooks better than me, so i clean most of the time. and the one time he cleans, he decides to use the dish washer, which we aren't so familiar with. hence, the foam party. well, we always thought any form of mishap that would happen here would most prob have my name on it but....hur hur hur, he beat me to it!
anyhow, it's almost a week since we've been here, we've moved to a much nicer service apartment. we've been looking at apartments, some that are horrid (in chinatown - i almost yelled at my agent "doesnt mean i'm chinese means tt i wanna live in chinatown!!!"), some that are super glam n nice, and some that are kinda out of the way. we saw one today which we both like, for its location and the apartment itself. we're gonna hold onto that and look around a lil wee bit more just to be sure. but i am happy if that turns out to be our new home. it's cosy and so central. love it!
i'm gonna cook soon, i'm gonna attempt baked salmon with herbs, rice and spinach. i hope i have decent photos to share after tonight. i hope no one turns green after eating.
and to all my lovelies reading....yes, finally! my blog! my first form of connection on the worldwide web. ok not really the first, i have msn and email. i will get the FB up and running - i still am not very keen on that, but yes, i will get my ass on it soonest.
off to burning the kitchen down!!!
