moving away!

I am literally moving away from Boston soon but what I really meant is this blog.

It started out as a blog that was used to store all my lovely and crazy memories of our time here in Boston/USA. And these days, I've found more pleasure and joy in blogging about the things I love about design, interior, architecture, art, fashion, food, etc. Not that I don't love the time here with my boy and that I don't want to share that - but with Facebook, all our photos are there and it seems like a repeat to blog about it here.

So, I have moved all blog posts about what I love and has inspired me in the past few months to: iloveanddrool.blogspot.com

Bloody SNOW.

It was apparently the first day of Spring on Sunday. And then it freaking snowed on Monday. Oh and wait, the forecast says there's going to be some more snow today or tomorrow. So I have something to say.

Screw you snow.

Up up away for dinner!

Dinner In The Sky, a Belgian company, hosts dinners that hoister people up on cranes while they have dinner at a table suspended at a height of 50 metres and above. They do this with a team of professionals in several cities around the world.

It's crazy ain't it??? I would never do this...or rather I don't know what the point would be because I wouldn't be able to enjoy dinner or stomach anything down - things might even come up and out of my mouth instead. Maybe if it was kept surrounded in a capsule I would do it...not on a freaking crane with harness in between my freaking thighs!

Cos I wanna wear dresses like that. I have had it with the snow and the cold. It's about time Spring comes along. Winter - MOVE OVER!

I love this cut-out dress and how she looks with the nessy hair. I wanna wear this because I am partly hiao and also because I wanna be at a place where I can actually wear this out and not freeze over and die.

V-day fruits

I don't celebrate v-day and I really don't get what the big deal is about. I will not pay restaurants extra money just cos it's v-day and I will not dress up just because of that either. I do not expect anything romantic, in fact I don't want anything romantic, it's just too trite. BUT - I can deal with this.

Just cos it's fruits and a sweet note. And I have a soft spot for sweet notes...and fruits. :o)

Stylish bundles

It's hard to look good during the winter cos between keeping warm and looking stylish, I pick keeping warm. And when you are constantly cold and looking out at the dreary weather, it's hard to find inspiration to wanna dress up.

Here're some ladies who do winter gear so so well...oh wait, none of them are in Boston where we get shit loads of snow and chilly-to-the-bone winds. :o(

I need to do this...

And I mean the reading part and looking messily glamourous part...not the bathtub bit cos I don't think my back can take sitting in a tub for long and I certainly do not mean the smoking bit...
