sonsie or son-sey???

i keep pronouncing it as sown-see and the boy says cant be so awful sounding, it must be sown-sey...like a bit more french. *rolls eyes*

anyway, we took the risk to have brunch at Sonsie at Newbury street even though i have always doubted the food at Newbury. the cafes are great but most are over priced and filled with posers. and i assumed the restaurants would be the same or worse. and everytime i walked past sonsie, the place looked great but the people....questionable.

and fair enough, we were seated to 4 girls, super loud, it's like they were deaf to each other, they werent talking, they were yelling. and the food was overpriced. usual brunch for us comes up to 40 for 2 people and this time it was 70!!!!

my german pancake with strawberries and the boy's eggs benedict was good...but it wasnt out of the ordinary. i dun think we'll be dining at newbury again. newbury is only good for shopping, coffee and people watch. cos there sure is alot of pple wanting to be watched.

and see, even the website claims that it's the place to be seen. *pengsans*
