the much desired french toast....

i've been dying to go back to Grafton at Harvard Square for their french toast that is to die for....so this sunday, we managed to decline a barbeque and a short road trip and just be by ourselves. here's a glimpse of what brunch is usually like....huge serving!!!!

after brunch we walked around looking at furniture and we decided to catch star trek. we bought tickets for the 430pm show and the boy wanted to go in at 350pm. *jaw drops* and he reminded me that it's free seating. yup, tt's right. 10 bucks per ticket but you gotta fight for seats. so i dashed to the bubble tea place and went in to pick good seats. and as i stepped into the cinema i asked, "what's the number again?" *blur*

and we chanced upon Flat Patties, also at Harvard Square. the best roast beef sandwich i've had here. cos it tasted like a burger. hahahahahaha! it came looking like a burger and i was doubtful of it cos it only had roast beef and mayo in it. but one bite and i went to burger heaven. the burger lasted 15 mins. i am soooo going back there. yummy!!!!!!

here's us goofing around with the boy's new sunglasses. after looking everywhere he finally settled on this. it was 18 bucks. he almost conned me into getting the same pair - pls la! it's huuuuuge on me can.

we ended our sunday with NBA and intense rounds of UNO. intense only becos the boy is suuuuuper competitive. TSK.

however, i love our sundays by ourselves. :o)
