we found our new nest!!!

today, we signed the lease of our new home for the next 16 mths. it was a toss up between this place and another. i was secretly hoping the boy will pick this one becos my heart was sold the moment we saw it, but it was him who was undecided. thankfully, after seeing it again for the 2nd time, the boy and i got on the same page.

the place is very charming and the entire building holds only 30 units. yeah to lil neighbours! and the location? right smack in the financial district, this means we have cafes, restaurants and even a wine shop just below. the best part would be the 10 min walk to work, double yeah to sleeping in!

i love the kitchen...huge! comes with a marble top island and a huge ass kitchenaid fridge (which u cant see in this photo)

Right next to the living area...love the brick walls and exposed beams.

the living area extends to this below...that comes with partitions, so it can actually be a 2nd bedroom for guests or a study area. if not, we can leave the partition open and extend the living area.

and the bedroom...with one bathroom here and there's another bathroom in the loft! 2 bathrooms! yeah us!

love it! it looks completely different from our current apartment. it's more lofty and it's huge for us, 1000+ sq feet, plenty of space for the furniture to breathe. and we're moving in 3 weeks! cant wait!
