saturday

i dun really have anything else to title this post apart from our saturday. we had a slow start to saturday...while the boy slept in i took a walk alone in the park behind our apartment and watch dogs chase each other. i want one too!!!

we then went down to the boston city, around hynes area to "The Other Side" - a bar/cafe. really cool place cos it looks gritty, the pple there are all kinda funky weird but yet it's a very chill place, esp in the afternoon. we sat on the 2nd level overlooking the bar/cafe.

then it was shopping on newbury street. newbury street is a stretch of shops tt almost everyone loves...cos it's the most busy area in boston. good to shop there and have coffee but never ever eat there. it's a rip off. the food is not that great but it costs more. newbury is a place to see and be seen, enough said.

and it was dinner at "House of Siam" at south end. dinner was really really good....i love the pad thai and green curry. for once, it's a thai restaurant that understands spice. however, the wine service sucked. i order a rose wine and they served me a red wine and insist that it's the right wine. after they realise they got it wrong, they say they dun have the rose wine i ordered and recommended a white wine. then the bill came with them charging me the bottle of white wine when i order a glass. jesus.

the boy always takes nice photos of me and i take terrible terrible photos of him. see below. enuf said.

best part of our day was shopping at marshall's and we bought an exercise ball, a vase, a bowl and 2 recipe books, all within 40 bucks. the boy says we became al' cheapos since we got here. hur hur hur!
