Stage Deli was some place we stumbled across cos it looked really old and country, we thought it would be some cheap deli cos we just wanted to grab a simple bite.
but NOOOOOO....stage deli has been around for over 50 years from brooklyn to new york and the food is very not cheap. a roast beef sandwich is 14 bucks. and this is what the sandwich looks like.
i dunno if it's worth the price or not. cos on one hand, i can say that this sandwich has nothing else, no sauce no veggie nuttin. but then, if u really wanna make your money's worth u would want shitloads of roast beef in there. however, isnt this a lil too much??? i lost my appetite a lil when i saw the loaf of roast beef coming towards me. the boy says it's normal for them to eat this much...it's authentic. yikes.
thankfully we were smart enough to order 1 serving to share. or else i doubt i wanna touch another roast beef sandwich for another few months.
