this blog has kinda turn into a blog filled with food...hmmm...i dun seem to have many escapades to blog about but i guess it's a good thing cos it's a sign that we've settled in and we're leading a "everyday" life as opposed to the first couple of months where we felt more like travellers here.
on weekends we roam around the area near our place for lunch and coffee, and we make dinner to stay home for a movie on demand. we even contemplated getting an old lady's trolley to drag to the supermarket every sunday afternoon for groceries.
when we do eat out we have our usual favourite places. we know where to go to get stuff. and we know how to walk or train to wherever we wanna go. so i can safely say tt we are "living" here now.
the only thing i am still dreading is the awful weather. we had like 2 months of lovely weather with abundant sunshine and then it now seems to be grey again. there are some days of pretty fall weather but it's boston, the windy city, hence it's almost never tt you can step out with a sweater or scarf on standby. and we always always check the weather report before we head out, cos the weather is temperamental. it can be super sunny today and it could drop 15 degrees tomorrow and storm.
so apart from the weather, i think we've pretty much settled in. home looks like home and it's comfy. sometimes we dun even wanna step out cos we love home! :o)
