bar chor mee!!!!!

i love bar chor mee. everyone knows tt....and i miss it sooooo much. well, together with a million and one other food stuff from back home. so the boy says he can cook bar chor mee. okie.....i was a bit apprehensive at first but i figured, his cooking skills are good, even if they dun taste like bar chor mee, they will prob still be good noodles.

so, i jumped outta bed in the morning cos the boy said it's dim sum brunch. hahahahahahaha! here's us mucking ard on the train to chinatown.

then we went to the chinese supermarket. felt like home....but again, also felt abit like i'm in china or hong kong. cos, look at the typo we found on vinegar!!!!!

on the way home we snapped photos of shepard fairey posters! obey posters to be exact....

finally the yummylicious bar chor mee!!!! it was ALMOST like the real deal, only problems were, the vinegar we bought was not strong enuf, the noodles were a lil hard and we bought fresh mushrooms instead of dried ones, so the fresh ones were too sweet. however, the soup was sooooo good, it's even better than some of those tt i had back home, and the chili the boy mixed up was awesome. super spicy!

he's going to have to do this again next sunday and perfect it! yay!!!! i get bar chor mee here!!!!

our dining/working table and white chair arrived. the coffee table was scratched so they're gonna have to deliver another one.

the white chair familiar hor? hahahahahaha! i duno why he likes this chair so much. it reminds me of the ex-office. n if i'm not wrong, these chairs are at the creative area somemore. *shudders* oh, n the chair is abt USD 260, so....go take one home!!!!

it's 3 days ahead of rain...but it's sunny on friday. n super super hot on saturday and sunday! i am soooo looking forward to the weekend!
