this week, she sent me an email and we started talking again. i'm really happy to hear from her, n to hear tt she's doing well now. i know she's going thru a relatively tough time still, but at least she's doing better than 6 months ago. so yay! my friend is back! n now it just sucks tt i've left singapore if not we could catch up for dinner or drinks. BOO.
and i baked yesterday afternoon...oatmeal cookies with raisins and chocolate chips! this time round the cookies are crispier.
i think i prefer baking them than eating them. hahahahaha! and i definitely prefer cakes to cookies. oh well, the boy has more to eat then.
i have plans to check out a designer furniture place lunchtime today with the boy cos they r having 70% off! and after tt we're going for dim sum lunch, yummz! last night, before i fell asleep (literally before) i was telling and counting the boy what i'm gonna have for dim sum.
me: i cant have the char siew bao anymore, if i eat tt i have to drop something.
the boy: u dun like it?
me: i do...but i must have 2 siew mai, 2 ha kao, 1 egg tart, 2 glutinous rice ball, 1 ball of beancurd, char siew chee cheong fun....
the boy: wow. tt is alot leh....
me: oh and i want a bit of ur prawn chee cheong fun.
the boy: n u still want my food.
me: so u see...i got no space for a char siew bao.
and according to the boy this morning, i fell asleep right after tt. it's hilarious, i fell asleep counting the dim sum i'm having today. hyuk hyuk!
A friend of mine went away to the states almost 2 months ago and i miss her. :(
