cookies are alot harder to bake than muffins. i take 45 mins for muffins and they are perfect. i take 1.5 hours for cookies and they look great but dun taste like cookies. they werent crispy, they were a lil moist. more like brownies than cookies. the boy did say some pple like the soft kind. like my younger sis. tt's my consolation i guess. next time have to bake them longer. problem with cookies is when u take them out of the oven u arent sure if it's ready cos they need to cool down for an hour or so then they settle into their texture. by then it's too late to put them back into the oven....anyhow here they are. the giant cookies.
and last week i made garlic broiled chicken thighs. we loved it!!! yummy!!! but the buttery lemon spinach i ODed on the lemon. it was way too lemony. the boy finished it but i couldnt....ew.
am gonna bake chocolate muffins and maybe maybe maybe attempt a chocolate bundt this week....
errr. maybe you got a recipe for chewy cookies, not the crunchy kind?
ReplyDeletebut not nice leh when it's chewy.... :o( next time we bake tog la! so u can yell at me for being slow and then i can proceed to sit by the window to puff and drink coffee while watching u bake alone instead. knowing you, hmpf!
