red velvet cupcakes

i've never taken notice of nor have i heard or seen red velvet cakes back home. but here, it's everywhere! n pple love it here! it looks really luscious and it tastes a little like chocolate cake. but tt's cos it's got a lil cocoa powder in it. the color doesnt contribute to its taste, it's just red coloring as you will see here.

red velvet cupcakes are usually frosted with cream cheese and topped with coconut here but i hate cream cheese. and cannot frost for my dear life. not yet anyway...so i decorated some with shaved dark chocolate. :o)
