rockport: the small town

it was our first road trip on friday! with another couple, we drove up 45 mins to rockport, a small quaint town, which is also the place where the movie, the proposal, was shot at (it was meant to be alaska in the movie). i love the small town! it really looks so surreal and off a movie set! due to the fabulous summer weather, pple were out, the town was buzzing with pple, etc.

i'm gonna blog abt this day in parts as we started with the small town, moved on to 2 other beaches around the area, and a sculpture park and a museum. in total, the boy took over 150 photos tt day.

and i stuffed my face throughout the day. here's what i had:
- cookies and chips while driving up
- steak n cheese sandwich for lunch, which sucked
- 2 scoops of ice cream
- lobster and fries for tea break
- bbq chicken wings and ribs for dinner
YIKES!!!!!! the boy says "you enjoy life only ah, eat and eat...greedy pok!" :o(

we walked around the lil town for a bit and found summer houses, with sailboats and lil beaches....i'm now dreaming of a summer house with the beach right in front and a sailboat upfront to sunbathe and have picnics on. i'm willing to give up the city lights for this!

we had so much fun tt the boy says we'll rent one of those summer houses and have our mini summer vacation there soon! :o)
